Tapered legs and an open silhouette balance traditional craftsmanship with the relaxed versatility of transitional design.

The parquetry creates visual movement across the top, highlighting the oak’s distinctive grain. A soft-close drawer with two dark metal pulls provides concealed storage, while two open shelves offer space for books, baskets, or decorative objects. Equally appealing beside a bed, sofa, or reading chair.

Founded in 1996 by Paul Maitland Smith, Theodore Alexander is a luxury furniture maker known for fine materials, detailed design, and artisan craftsmanship. The maker’s label is present inside the drawer.

Restoration and condition:
The top has been refinished and protected with four coats of clear finish, bringing renewed clarity to the wood grain and parquetry pattern. A small area of slight discoloration remains within one parquet section on the top; please review the close-up photographs. The refinished top is not the original factory finish.

Exact manufacture year has not been verified. Decorative accessories shown in the photographs are not included. See less
