These amazing Ice Tongs are made of cast iron. This incredible piece of history presents a wonderfully classic Traditional and rustic style from the early 1900's with a lovely patina. It is stamped on the handle with a marking that could be manufacturer details though it is hard to read in some areas. With the ability to extend for a wide grip and with the sharp front points, this collectible piece was used for grabbing and transporting large blocks of ice, and it would be a wonderful addition to any collection of rustic hand tools or used as a decorative accent for rustic, contemporary, industrial and farmhouse style decor. It can even be used for ice or firewood in the modern day!
