This is a striking vintage cloisonné enamel vase, crafted in the classic meiping form. The vase features a slender, waisted body with a broad shoulder and a small mouth, all finished with gold gilded rims. Crafted from a substantial copper body with intricate wire inlay, the surface is richly decorated against a deep cobalt blue ground that is densely patterned with a fine, scrolling gilt wire cloud motif. The main body features a vibrant, hand-painted scene of a golden dragon and a colorful phoenix amidst stylized, multi-colored auspicious clouds in shades of light blue, pink, and white, with a red sun disc in the background. The "Dragon and Phoenix" motif is a classic symbol of harmony, balance, and good fortune. The base is decorated with a band of upright, stylized lotus petals and a wave-like border. The underside is glazed in turquoise blue and bears a gilded seal mark. The vase comes with a fitted dark wood display stand and a padded presentation box with a red exterior and yellow satin lining. A highly decorative and collectible piece.
