This is the highly desirable large-scale model, featuring two soaring seagulls gracefully balanced on slender wire rods above a substantial, dramatic organic burl wood base.
The birds are masterfully crafted from Perry’s signature Pellucida compound, a proprietary resin specially formulated to emulate the delicate, matte finish of bisque porcelain while offering excellent durability. Because every base is a unique piece of natural burl wood, this sculpture is entirely one-of-a-kind, boasting deep, complex grain patterns and rich, warm tones that pair beautifully with organic modern, coastal chic, or curated eclectic interiors.
A quintessential piece of 1970s California art, this sculptural work brings a beautiful sense of motion and timeless coastal character to a console, fireplace mantel, or accent table. See less
