Beautiful vintage Giuseppe Armani sculpture depicting a pair of sulphur-crested cockatoos perched together on a naturalistic tree branch. The larger cockatoo bends affectionately toward the smaller bird, creating a charming parent-and-young-bird composition.

The sculpture features Armani's finely modeled naturalistic detail, from the individually defined wing and tail feathers to the dramatic golden-yellow cockatoo crests, dark beaks and feet, and softly colored tree trunk. The predominantly ivory matte finish gives the birds an elegant bisque-like appearance, accented by subtle hand-painted coloration.

The sculpture is mounted on its original polished stepped wooden display base with metal ITALY plaque.

Authenticating details include an incised © G. Armani signature on the sculpture, a blue crowned-N mark, and the original brown hang tag reading “Scultura di G. Armani.” These markings are consistent with documented Giuseppe Armani works produced by Florence Sculture d’Arte in Italy. Catawiki
