Each jar features a rounded, bulbous body with a fitted domed lid. Crafted from a substantial copper body with intricate wire inlay , the jars are richly decorated against a deep red ground. The design features vibrant, hand-painted motifs of pink peony blossoms, blue and yellow flowers, and a prominent green and blue butterfly, all interconnected by scrolling golden wire vines and leaves. The interiors of the jars and the undersides of the lids are glazed in a solid, bright turquoise blue. The rims, bases, and finials are finished with polished gold-toned metal. Both jars sit on fitted dark wooden display stands and come with their original patterned presentation box. This is a highly decorative and collectible set, ideal for gifting or display.
