This is a striking pair of vintage cloisonné enamel lidded jars, crafted from a copper body with intricate wire inlay. Each jar features a bulbous, rounded body with a fitted domed lid topped by a gilded, pointed finial. The exteriors are richly decorated against a brilliant, textured gold ground that shines through the enamel. The design features a vibrant palette of colors: deep cobalt blue scalloped bands and lappet borders, interspersed with stylized green geometric motifs, and a central band of scrolling white, blue, and green floral vine patterns. A pink and white lotus or peony blossom with a green center adorns the lower body. The interiors of the jars and the undersides of the lids are glazed in a bright, solid turquoise blue enamel. The rims, bases, and finials are finished with polished gold gilding. A highly decorative and collectible pair, ideal for display.
