Exceptional matching pair of authentic KnollStudio Barcelona Chairs designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe.
Both chairs retain their original Knoll identification and are stamped into the frames with the KnollStudio mark and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe signature.
Finished in beautiful ivory/cream leather with matching leather suspension straps and polished chrome frames.
The chairs retain their Knoll upholstery labels and original button tufted cushions. The leather presents beautifully with light age-appropriate wear and patina. Polished frames remain extremely attractive with normal minor surface scratches/wear consistent with use.
Authentic Knoll construction features individually hand-welted and tufted leather panels, leather suspension straps and the iconic X-form Barcelona frame.
Designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe in 1929 and manufactured under license by Knoll.
Authenticity: Both chairs bear the KnollStudio/Mies van der Rohe frame markings and Knoll manufacturer's labels. Detailed photographs of markings and labels are included.
