Traditional Northern California Native American basket, most likely Hupa, Yurok, or Karuk. This basket is under consignment from a collection of other Northern California Native baskets. Bulbous body with narrow neck and slightly flared rim.
Hand-woven natural fibers featuring a light tan or beige body with a repeating geometric arrowhead pattern in dark brown or black along the lower half and a smaller banded geometric motif near the rim and at base.
Measures 3 1/4" tall x 4 1/4" wide at opening x 4 1/2" at widest.
Excellent condition, no major damage found.
