Folk armchair from the Cantal, dating from around 1900, with a solid wood frame, woven rush seat, and tall two-bar backrest. The slightly curved armrests are made from naturally irregular pieces of wood, giving the chair a simple yet elegant silhouette.
The frame is reinforced by low stretchers and retains a light aged patina with visible marks and irregularities from use.
