Height: 31 cm Good condition Gustave van Vaerenbergh (1873-1927) was a Belgian sculptor, renowned for his female busts in the early Art Nouveau style. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent between 1888 and 1890 and worked with Carli et Frères in Schaerbeek until 1925. Auguste Henri Carli (1868-1930) opened a studio with his brothers in Schaerbeek, Belgium, where the later-renowned Gustave van Vaerenbergh first became an assistant and subsequently a well-known sculptor.
