Late Art Nouveau, Pillow Vase. The rhythmic, organic waves that flow into one another are said to originate from the Egypt under the name 'King Tut' and this one of the most beautiful decorative variations produced by Johann Loetz Witwe glassworks.
Around 1914, this motif became a trend in design and fashion and was reintroduced by Victor Durand.
The organic, dynamic, and rhythmic interplay of flowing lines was applied to bowls and vases. The undulating, overlapping lines was create a soft, dynamic effect. The bowl captivates with its pillow shape, in witch form and decoration seem to blend seamlessly, perfectly completing the appearance of this work of art. Comes in luxury packaging. Weights 3.4 k.
