An impressive pair of mid-century Italian Florentine four-light wall sconces, masterfully hand-forged from tole iron and sheet metal in Italy during the 1960s. This matching set of two large-scale fixtures exhibits a highly detailed openwork composition, deeply rooted in the Hollywood Regency and traditional Florentine styles. The matching frames are richly decorated with scrolling acanthus leaves, classical baroque flourishes, and a prominent fleur-de-lis crown crest at the apex.
Both iron frames feature their original gold gilded finish, showcasing a beautiful aged patina that lends a warm, authentic historic character to the set. Each sconce displays four elegant candle-style arms sweeping outwards to support standard light sockets, offering a combined balance of eight lights when installed together.
Up to 250V (Europe/UK Standard). The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
