A superb antique walnut breakfront open bookcase. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1920’s period.
It is of extremely fine quality and is a great size with lots of storage space. The shelves are all adjustable, this sits on beautifully shaped cabriole legs with detailed shell carving at the knees, and it has a gadrooned top edge.
We have recently had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. The walnut has acquired a gorgeous patina and colour tone over the years and has wonderful grain patterns.
