Age & Condition: Circa 1805. Some signs of age to the veneers, cracks on the sides due to age. A few light mars to the top surface.

Dimensions: 68.5″ wide x 27.25″ deep x 39.5″ tall.

Beautiful antique Federal sideboard with lovely inlay and details. This nice Baltimore Buffet has a beautiful design and shows incredible condition for its age!

Antique Federal Sideboard
This lovely antique Federal sideboard has a lovely design that epitomizes early 1800s furniture. Of course, it has a bowed front, all legs and very elegant details.

The sideboard features four shallow drawers across the front, with two larger deeper drawers below. Of course, there is a small cabinet space in the center.

Baltimore Buffet
This Baltimore buffet sits on tall inlaid legs. Additionally, the sideboard has lovely inlaid motifs: both floral and the classic two handled urn that was so common in early 19th century pieces from this region.

Of course, we left this Baltimore buffet in original found condition. There are some signs of age, like some separations to the sides of the buffet, and some minor issues to the veneers on the cabinet doors. The crotch mahogany facade features a prominent, historic shrinkage split across the upper grain pattern, consistent with natural desiccation and age. The surrounding veneer remains structurally stable with minor checking.
