This antique pine chest features a gently domed lid, dovetailed construction, and a warm, timeworn surface with abundant patina and character. Hand-forged iron strap hinges, bun-style feet, and a red-painted interior add to its early utilitarian charm and suggest a 19th-century origin. Originally intended for storing blankets, linens, or clothing, it would also work beautifully today as a decorative storage chest, blanket box, or low accent piece.
