A glamorous mid-century vanity mirror framed in gilt cast metal. Open Rococo scrollwork, curling acanthus leaves and a shell crest wrap around a finely embossed rosette border, and the whole frame has a soft, aged-gold patina.
The back is finished in its original brown velvet and has a fold-out easel stand, so the mirror can sit on a dresser, vanity or bathroom counter. Two hanging rings also allow it to be hung on a wall.
It brings a touch of old-world romance to a dressing table, powder room or entryway, and works beautifully in Hollywood Regency, French Country and Grandmillennial interiors.
