An antique flow blue footed bowl featuring rich cobalt decoration against a creamy white ground. Its elongated octagonal form combines a shaped, molded rim with a matching angular pedestal foot. A softly flowing landscape decorates the interior, complemented by floral sprigs on the exterior and patterned borders around the rim and base.
The underside bears a blue “SOBRAON” pattern backstamp within an ornamental cartouche. The Sobraon pattern is associated with Samuel Alcock’s English pottery.
Beautiful displayed on a dining room sideboard, an entry chest, or among antique blue-and-white ceramics. The low pedestal and sculpted silhouette give it presence even when displayed empty.
Dimensions: 11 inches wide × 8.5 inches deep × 2.8 inches high.
