Japanese figural print by Toshijiro Inagaki (1902–1963), featuring eight stylized praying figures arranged in two rows of four. Rust, ochre, and black forms create a rhythmic composition against cream-colored paper, with intricate linear detailing that echoes the artist’s background in textile design.
The print bears the artist’s red Toshi seal and the publisher’s seal. Pencil-signed “Mikumo,” dated 1965, and numbered 55/100, this is a posthumous edition published by Mikumo Mokuhansha of Kyoto.
Presented under glass with a wide olive-brown fabric mat, burgundy inner border, and a dark frame with a mottled golden finish. Its warm palette and graphic repetition complement antique wood furniture, textured fabrics, and modern interiors.
The original Robert Havens Fine Framing label from Charlotte, North Carolina, remains attached to the back.
