The generously proportioned frame features pronounced rounded roll arms and a continuous rolled backrail, giving the sectional its distinctive upholstered architecture. The exterior is tailored in a deeply textured black ribbed textile with a faille, ottoman, or micro-cord appearance. Along the upper back, contrasting bouclé or brush-fringe trim adds a distinctly 1980s–1990s decorative detail and emphasizes the sweeping curvature of the design.

The base is finished with a full tailored box-pleated or kick-pleat skirt, punctuated by self-covered decorative buttons at the skirt divisions.
