New Chrome foot bumpers ALSO replaced the old plastic white bumpers, one sees in that period. A sold and heavy accent stool, side stool and/or ottoman. We are impressed by the comfort, assume the constitution n guts of the piece play a large part, but can easily be tucked under a console, or pulled out to add extra seating, near a chair to place one's feet upon it, a children's bedroom, and frankly made for any type of inclusion and necessity but the simplicity of the form and the functionality has a quiet sophistication today as did back in the 1980's. Excellent condition.
