This antique classical garden sculpture features a winged angel crafted from zinc, mounted on a substantial marble base. The sculpture is rendered in the style of Jean-Antoine Injalbert’s “The Angel of Destiny,” depicting a draped figure with outstretched wings and a contemplative expression. The zinc has developed a natural patina with areas of verdigris, characteristic of outdoor statuary from the late 19th century. This piece, dating to approximately 1890, serves as a significant decorative element for a garden or estate. The overall dimensions are substantial, making it a focal point in any classical landscape design.
