Tommaso Barbi Lotus Floor Lamp, Italy, 1970s
Brass petals opening outward from a central stem, cupping the light, rising off a white marble base. Barbi built his whole seventies catalog from botanical forms — rhubarb, shell, ginkgo — always in brass, always a size larger than the plant would justify. Cool stone, warm patina. Polish it or leave it.
*Takes standard light bulbs
Measures travertine base 18” long 10” deep. To top of tallest brass lotus 69” tall, top of shorter brass lotus 57”
