Elegant vintage Scandinavian rattan magazine rack and side table, dating from approximately the 1960s.
This charming Mid-Century piece combines a practical glass-topped side table with a spacious lower magazine and newspaper rack, making it both decorative and functional. The design features beautifully curved rattan, slender legs, looped handles, woven details and a warm honey-toned patina.
The compact proportions make it ideal beside an armchair, sofa or reading chair, while the lower rack provides ample space for magazines, newspapers, books or records.
The piece was acquired in Scandinavia and reflects the light, natural and functional aesthetic associated with Scandinavian Mid-Century design.
The original textured glass top fits neatly within the rattan frame, and the table is preserved in very good vintage condition. The rattan structure remains strong and complete, with only light age-related wear consistent with its vintage character.
