Teak frame with three drawers, extendable top with a 45 cm side extension, and tapered legs. Model "378" by Eric Johansson for Abrahamssons Möbelfabrik, Sweden, 1956.
The lightness of its form is the most distinctive feature of the "378" model: the thin top appears almost suspended on four tapered legs, joined at the back by a distinctive curved crosspiece that softens the overall geometry. The three stacked drawers and the side extension complete a composition carefully crafted down to the last detail. Designed by Eric Johansson for Abrahamssons Möbelfabrik, the model was launched in 1956, at the height of the postwar Swedish design era. Good condition. May show signs of aging.
