The piece features a luminous gold-toned finish and is surmounted by a pale onyx marble top, whose subtle veining provides a sophisticated contrast to the richly ornamented base.

The frieze is adorned with finely cast decorative motifs inspired by eighteenth-century French design, while the corners are embellished with carved ornament that accentuates the console's architectural form. Slender tapered legs with fluted detailing lend the piece a graceful silhouette, embodying the symmetry and restraint characteristic of the Louis XVI style.

Designed to be placed against a wall, this console functions beautifully in an entrance hall, living room, dining room, or bedroom. The combination of gilt finish, classical ornamentation, and natural stone creates an elegant focal point suited to both traditional and eclectic interiors.

Presented in good vintage condition, with normal signs of age and use consistent with its history. The onyx marble top remains well preserved and complements the refined appearance of the frame. See less
