A handsome set of eight vintage French stemmed glasses, each featuring an elegant frosted horse-and-rider motif and marked “FRANCE” on the glass.
The equestrian scene depicts a traditionally dressed rider on horseback in motion, giving the set a wonderfully sophisticated sporting and country-house character. The clean cylindrical bowls, short stems, and simple round feet keep the design classic and understated.
A particularly appealing set for an equestrian home, hunt-country setting, sporting collection, or well-appointed bar. Perfect for wine, cocktails, water, or entertaining, and a wonderful gift for a rider or horse lover.
Details: Set of 8; made in France; each glass marked FRANCE; clear glass with frosted equestrian decoration; horse-and-rider motif; short stem and round foot; vintage 20th century; maker unknown.
