designed by ole wanscher and manufactured by p. Jeppesen møbelfabrik in denmark, the rungstedlund series was created in 1967 for the historic manor house of danish author karen blixen in rungsted, north of copenhagen. The name, the proportions, and the quiet luxury of the solid mahogany all carry that heritage — a piece of danish cultural history that now belongs in a home.

the extendable dining table offers three configurations: 146 cm for intimate dining, 211 cm for a family table, or 276 cm for formal entertaining. The two extension leaves store flat and seamlessly flush with the top.

the set includes six side chairs and one armchair — all in solid mahogany with original striped upholstery. Seven matching chairs from the rungstedlund series in a single set is exceptionally rare.
