The pattern combines deep blues, pinks, orange and green in stylized floral garlands and ornamental motifs, accented by generous gold gilding along the edges and finial.

The most distinctive feature is the dramatic domed cover, which rises above the broad 8-inch underdish to create an unusually architectural silhouette. The porcelain is fine and translucent when held to the light and produces a clear ringing tone when gently tapped.

Marked Koenigszelt Silesia, a mark dating the piece to approximately 1922–1930.

I previously owned several pieces from this same service, including a sugar bowl and teacups, making this covered serving dish part of a larger documented tableware pattern.
