The jar features a rounded, tapering body with a wide, unglazed mouth rim and a flat, slightly recessed base. The upper body is covered in a thick, creamy-white slip glaze with a subtle crackle and natural speckling, while the lower section transitions into a darker, grayish slip before revealing the warm, sandy-orange clay body at the base. The body is decorated with a bold, free-flowing slip-painted design: a stylized, dark grey floral spray with a central flower head and slender, curving leaves, rendered in a style reminiscent of traditional Chinese Cizhou ware pottery. The unglazed base shows the raw clay body and natural firing marks. This is a tactile, rustic piece with a strong wabi-sabi aesthetic, ideal for display or as a decorative vessel.
