A beautifully crafted Mappin & Webb “Triple Deposit” Princes Plate Footed Toast Rack, sized for six slices and very unique with its graceful skirting. The metalwork shows the refined proportions and gentle hand‑finished curves typical of Mappin & Webb’s early 20th‑century silverplate. The underside bears the full Mappin & Webb’s Princes Plate marks along with model number W12117, confirming authenticity and origin from the firm’s London & Sheffield workshops.
This piece brings a touch of British breakfast service tradition to modern entertaining — perfect for maximalist tables, English Country kitchens, hotel‑silver collections, or styled as a sculptural accent on a sideboard. Its warm patina adds character without compromising shine.
Use it for toast, letters, napkins, or simply as a charming decorative object that signals heritage and hospitality.
