Expertly handcrafted from richly figured Brazilian hardwoods, the cylindrical form showcases an intricate patchwork parquetry construction, where carefully composed geometric blocks create a rhythmic composition of contrasting wood grains and warm natural tones.

The harmonious interplay of deep chocolate rosewood, reddish-brown caviúna, honey-toned hardwoods, and amber accents gives the surface remarkable visual depth, celebrating the natural beauty and individuality of each species. The seamless parquetry wraps continuously around the vessel, transforming a functional wine cooler into a sophisticated decorative object.

Designed with a removable fitted lid that also functions as a coaster, the piece reflects the refined balance between utility and sculptural elegance that defined Brazilian design of the period. Whether displayed on a bar, library, or dining room sideboard, it serves equally as a practical wine holder and a collectible work of decorative art.

The underside retains its original Jean Dobré – Tropic Art maker's label, an important mark of authenticity that reinforces its provenance and place within the history of Brazilian modern design.

Beautifully proportioned and meticulously executed, this rare bottle holder embodies the warmth, craftsmanship, and timeless sophistication that have made Jean Dobré's wooden creations highly sought after by collectors of Brazilian Modern furniture and decorative arts. See less
