The frame is composed of hand-cut, beveled glass panels, each etched with delicate scrolling floral motifs that catch the light as you move past. Their soft grey tone gives the piece a moodier, more unexpected feel than the brighter Venetian mirrors often seen, adding depth while keeping the ornament restrained.

A scalloped inner border softens the geometry of the frame, creating a gentle contrast against the clean lines of the central mirror plate. At each corner, Murano glass rosettes add a final decorative note—small points of sparkle that bring the whole composition to life.

There is a softness to this piece despite its structure. It feels elegant without being overly formal—beautiful in an entry, above a console, or layered into a bedroom or dressing space. The kind of mirror that adds light, detail, and just enough romance.

Condition: In very good vintage condition, with areas of natural foxing consistent with age and use. Hanging hardware present along the reverse.
