At just over 39 inches wide, it’s sized for an entryway—something to meet you as you come and go.

The frame is constructed in warm-toned cherry wood, its surface showing subtle variation and grain that shifts with the light. The form is straightforward but considered: a slim upper shelf, gently angled supports, and a lower rail that introduces a slight curve across the length. Nothing feels rigid.

Four brass hooks are spaced evenly along the center rail, each one softly sculpted with a broad, rounded top and a smaller lower hook beneath. They feel substantial in the hand, with a weight and shape that’s both practical and expressive. Over time, the brass has developed a mellow patina, sitting comfortably against the warmth of the wood.

It’s a piece designed for daily use—coats, bags, a place to set something down for a moment.

Condition: Great vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. The cherry wood frame has been partially refinished by our team of restorationists, balancing the tone while preserving the natural variation and character of the wood. Minor surface marks and subtle irregularities remain. The brass hooks show light oxidation and surface wear, contributing to a softened patina. See less
