A 19th century French marble pedestal composed of a cylindrical shaft in golden ochre marble, softly veined with muted grey and blush undertones. The column is framed by a contrasting circular top and plinth in rouge marble, richly mottled with brick red, terracotta, and creamy white inclusions.
The interplay of warm earth tones and classical proportion gives the piece an architectural presence. A composed foundation for a bust, vessel, or sculptural object.
Condition: In great vintage condition, with surface wear consistent with age and use.
