A pair of French wall sconces from the 1930s, shaped by the geometry of the Art Deco period.
Each piece is formed in plaster, the surface softly textured and finished in a matte white that absorbs light rather than reflecting it. The half-bowl silhouette sits forward from the wall, balanced by a stepped base.
Set into the face are three amber glass cabochons, aligned vertically. When illuminated, they glow with a low, honeyed warmth. The effect is subtle but deliberate—light filtered, not exposed.
Placed along a hallway, they create rhythm. In a bedroom or living space, they offer a softened, ambient light that shapes the atmosphere rather than defines it.
Condition: In very good vintage condition, with a few minor surface marks. These sconces have been professionally rewired by our in-house team of restorationists. Accepts one E12 candelabra base light bulb each.
Additional Dimensions: Backplate: 5.5"W x 10.5"H
