A set of four Dutch Brutalist lounge chairs with three accompanying side tables, designed by Dittmann & Co for Awa Radbound in the Netherlands during the 1960s.
Composed entirely in solid oak, the arrangement carries the grounded, architectural presence associated with Dutch Brutalist design. The chairs sit low to the floor with broad slatted frames, paired with thick black cushions that soften the rigidity of the oak structure.
Visible joinery, exposed structural elements, and softened edges give the set its sculptural quality, while the accompanying side tables extend the geometry outward into a modular arrangement that can be grouped together or separated across a room.
Though substantial in material, the proportions feel relaxed and informal—designed for gathering, conversation, and everyday living rather than strict formality. Viewed together, the pieces read less as individual objects and more as a unified interior landscape in oak.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition, with a soft, natural patina to the wood. This piece has undergone a six step refinishing process by our skillful team of in-house restorationists. "Amelo Holland" sticker present on one chair.
