The vessel features a bulbous upper body with four small loop handles (two on each side) and a tapering, unglazed lower section. The upper half is covered in a thick, creamy-white slip glaze with a subtle crackle and natural imperfections, while the lower half is left unglazed, revealing a warm, sandy-orange clay body with visible texture and firing marks. The body is decorated with a bold, free-flowing slip-painted design: thick, dark blue-black scrolling bands accented with distinct rust-red dots, in a style reminiscent of traditional Chinese folk or Cizhou ware pottery. The base is flat and unglazed. This is a tactile, rustic piece with a strong wabi-sabi aesthetic, ideal for display or as a decorative vessel.
