The bottle features a flattened, rounded rectangular form with a short neck, a domed lid with a small finial, and a slightly splayed base. One side of the body is painted against a creamy white ground with a classic Chinese auspicious scene: two red-crowned cranes standing on a rockery beside a gnarled, blossoming plum tree with pink and white flowers and bamboo leaves. The crane and plum blossom are traditional symbols of longevity, purity, and perseverance in Chinese culture. The reverse side bears a two-character inscription in black calligraphy reading "清香" (Qing Xiang), which translates to "Clear Fragrance," a fitting motif for a snuff bottle. The base bears a two-character iron-red seal mark reading "珍藏" (Zhen Cang), meaning "Precious Collection." This is a delicate and highly collectible piece.
