The vase features a flared, lobed or foliate rim, a slender, tapering body, and a splayed foot. The body is painted against a creamy white ground with a scene from traditional Chinese "boy and pomegranate" (榴开百子) imagery: a young boy in colorful robes (yellow, blue, and pink) is seated on a grassy field, holding a small blue-and-white fish, while a leafy branch laden with ripe, split pomegranates arches above him. A small chick pecks at the grass nearby. The reverse side bears a four-character inscription in black calligraphy reading "榴开百子" (Liu Kai Bai Zi), which translates to "Pomegranate Opens to a Hundred Seeds," a classic motif symbolizing fertility and abundant offspring, accompanied by a small red seal mark. The base bears a six-character iron-red seal mark reading "大清乾隆年製" (Made in the Great Qing Qianlong Period), indicating it is a vintage revival piece in the Qianlong style. A highly decorative and collectible piece.
