Elevate your tablescape or antique silver collection with this exceptional, complete pair of turn-of-the-century master salt cellars. This set represents a stunning luxury collaboration from the Edwardian era, merging iconic American porcelain with fine New England silversmithing.
The two footed salt cellars are crafted from Lenox’s signature luminous cream-colored fine china, featuring an intricate Art Nouveau sterling silver floral overlay wrapped elegantly around the rims. Accompanying the cellars are their original, matched individual sterling silver salt spoons in the highly collectible "Monticello" pattern (introduced in 1908 by Rogers, Lunt & Bowlen).
The bottoms of the cellars bear the early green wreath "L" hallmark for Lenox. The spoons are beautifully stamped "STERLING" alongside the early Lunt shield emblem and a patent registration date of January 28, 1909.
An exquisite find for collectors of fine Americana, holiday dining, or curators of eclectic bar and estate tableware. What is not to love? These are rare and stunning.
Salt cellars are 2 1/8” wide and 1 1/8” tall. Spoon is 2.25” long.
