Dramatic oversized vintage Hollywood Regency table lamp featuring a beautifully sculpted cherub figure surrounded by ornate scrolling metalwork and cascading crystal prisms.
Standing approximately 41 inches tall overall, the lamp has wonderful architectural presence and functions as much as a decorative sculpture as it does a light source. The aged metallic finish beautifully emphasizes the figural and ornamental detailing, while clear and jewel-toned crystal prisms add movement and sparkle. Additional crystal prisms have been added over time to create the lush, layered presentation shown.
The design combines Hollywood Regency glamour with strong Rococo and Old World influences, making it particularly striking in a maximalist, romantic, European-inspired or collected interior.
Overall height: approximately 41”
Part of a larger estate being offered for sale.
