This compact sculptural case piece features a rich dark brown wood finish, softly curved sides and apron, three graduated drawers, rounded drawer pulls, and distinctive tapered legs with warm gold-tone accents.

The architectural silhouette gives this piece a sophisticated blend of traditional craftsmanship and modern, sculptural design. At just 18.5 inches square, it has a wonderfully versatile footprint for use as a bedside table, accent chest, end table, entryway storage piece, or occasional table.

The underside retains its original South Cone identification plaque reading “South Cone Live Sustainably / Handmade in Peru,” along with an additional production label identifying 2007, T00069, Montauk, order information, and client designation. The molded underside is also marked with the corresponding product code.

A particularly nice example of South Cone's Peruvian furniture craftsmanship, with substantial construction and an unusual, highly decorative silhouette.
