This remarkable multi-media statement piece elevates wildlife realism into fine art, beautifully depicting two bald eagles soaring over misty, snow-capped alpine peaks. This specific example is the rare and highly coveted Medallion Edition, limited to a strict run of only 500 pieces worldwide (this piece being No. 31/500).

The art features the vibrant, precision offset lithograph capturing Fernandez’s signature hyper-realist details. It features the artist's printed signature and date ('87) along with a hand-signed gold paint signature and edition numbering (31/500) on the lower left print border. The original hand-drawn remarque, set into a dedicated window within the bottom matting, is an original, authentic pencil sketch of a bald eagle's profile, individually hand-rendered, dedicated, and signed by Mario Fernandez himself, dated 4/21/88. The solid bronze bas-relief medallion, inset into the right side of the matting, is a beautiful, heavy cast-bronze medallion.

This print is custom gallery-framed and professionally housed in a substantial, deeply recessed solid wood frame with a warm finish, complemented by a multi-tiered, heavy archival museum matting that beautifully showcases the three distinct visual components. See less
