Its botanical decoupage appearance gives it an English Country and collected-interior character suited to coffee tables, ottomans, consoles, kitchens, dining rooms, and garden rooms. The individual floral illustrations create the look of a miniature botanical collection rather than a conventional all-over floral pattern. That makes this especially effective in layered interiors where vintage art, books, ceramics, and natural-history pieces are intentionally mixed together. The botanical decoupage treatment is also reminiscent of the collected natural-history aesthetic associated with designer John Derian. This is a stylistic comparison only; no attribution to John Derian is being made.

Good vintage condition with age-related nicks, scratches, and wear to the finish. Minor wear and scratches are a normal part of vintage items unless stated differently. Please review all photographs closely as they form an important part of the condition description. Use it across a large coffee table or ottoman with stacked design books, a small vase, and collected objects; place it on a console beneath botanical artwork; or use it for drinks and entertaining in a dining room or garden room. Its unusually large scale allows it to function almost like framed botanical artwork laid horizontally across a table. See less
