The Champions” is a large scale original painting by Werner Bronkhorst honoring Wimbledon and features 13 different world class tennis players in miniature.
This piece is one of his studio-issued sold out closed edition giclee prints on paper under gallery acrylic in a custom light oak frame, ready to hang. Smooth and glossy, with a textural look. With CofA. The print shows WB’s characteristic large, thick textural color, juxtaposed with his detailed, micro figures. Purchased directly from the artist and in its original packaging.
Bronkhurst is collected internationally and will have his first US show in LA in the Fall.
A rare and striking piece.
