The vase is executed in substantial hand-shaped glass and distinguished by its intense red internal “Red Core”, dramatically enclosed within a heavy mass of clear glass. The sculptural form and strong contrast between the vivid red centre and transparent outer glass create a pronounced sense of depth and powerful optical effects.
Despite its compact proportions, the vase has a substantial and monumental presence due to its considerable mass and strongly modelled form.
