Two abstract cast concrete sculptures in the brutalist idiom. Hand-carved or hand-finished geometric forms—one with interlocking rectangular planes and straps, the other with organic flaring volumes. Characteristic of Dutch brutalist sculpture from the 1960s. Raw concrete finish with visible aggregate and casting texture. Undocumented, unsigned
Both pieces have some small scuffs imperfections as can be seen in the epics and both have age-appropriate weathering and surface patina. Visible casting details (vent holes, aggregate)
No maker attribution or studio documentation. Acquired without provenance. The casting technique and formal language are consistent with Dutch brutalist production of the period. Suitable for display as a sculptural pair or individually. Raw concrete finish and abstract geometric approach are characteristic of the movement's aesthetic values.
