Both figures have blond hair, and the Virgin wears a golden crown. The Child is dressed in white, while Mary wears a blue mantle, traditionally associated with Heaven and divine protection, over a white tunic embellished with gold accents and meticulous floral ornamentation, corresponding to the decorative motifs on the base. The predominance of white in their garments alludes to purity. The Virgin tenderly holds the Child, who, with open arms, gazes towards the viewer, lending the scene a serene, affectionate, and intimate character.
