The chair features a beautifully balanced construction and a distinctive design, with tapered, slightly splayed legs, a wide curved backrest, and sculptural open armrests. The shaped arms with their broad, rounded hand rests, together with the cross stretcher below, give the chair a particularly graphic and distinctive silhouette.
The wood has developed a beautiful patina over time, carefully preserved during cleaning. Natural variations in tone and signs of use, particularly attractive on the armrests, add depth and character to the surface.
A characterful piece with understated yet expressive lines, equally suited to a modernist interior or a more contemporary setting. See less
